The Bean is an original Studio Meala short created by Sean Cunningham as a love letter to the Japanese commercials, promos and bumpers he watched so much of in his college years, as well as the work of some of his influences, like Hiroyuki Imasihi.
The project also helped us develop a style and pipeline suitable for some of our currently-in-development IP projects.
Synopsis
This is a fictional advert for a product known as THE BEAN. It features it’s main mascot, also known as ‘THE BEAN’, spreading their influence and turning the world they have been born into beans, to the delight of the population of Earth.
